Classes — Still Point Yoga Galway
Each class is capped at twelve people. That small size is the whole point — you're never lost at the back of the room, and you get real attention.
Beginner classes
A gentle, unhurried introduction to yoga. We start with breath, move through alignment basics, and learn foundational postures at a pace that lets you find your own rhythm. No experience needed — everything is explained as we go, and there's no pressure to keep up or look a certain way. Held Monday and Thursday evenings, 60 minutes.
Improver classes
For anyone who's done a few beginner classes and wants to go further. We build strength, explore longer flows, and deepen the postures you've already learned. This is where you start to feel yoga working in your body. Held Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, 60–75 minutes.
Morning vinyasa
An energising flow-based practice that links your breath to movement. Vinyasa wakes you up and settles your mind before the day starts. Perfect if you want to move with intention in the early hours. Held Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 60 minutes.
Restorative evening
Slow, supported and deeply calming. We use props and long holds to let your nervous system unwind after the day. Nothing strenuous — just time to rest and let go. Held Wednesday evenings, 75 minutes.
Monthly workshop
A longer, themed two-hour session held the last Sunday of each month. Open to all levels. We take a single focus — breath, backbends, balance, or whatever serves the season — and explore it more deeply than a regular class allows. A chance to learn something new in an unhurried way.
Who teaches
Our small teaching team shares a philosophy: yoga isn't about perfection, it's about showing up and paying attention to what your body needs on any given day.
Aoife Nolan
Founder, lead instructor
Aoife founded Still Point and teaches most of our classes. She trained for several years before moving to full-time teaching, and her style is calm, grounded and accessible — she believes everyone has a yoga practice waiting for them, no matter where they start.
Our team
Complementary styles, one vision
The rest of our instructors bring experience in vinyasa flow, restorative practice and beginner-focused teaching. Each brings their own warmth and clarity to the mat, and together we make sure there's a class that fits how you want to practise.
